Brass Flare & Inverted Flare Fittings

Brass Flare Fittings are precision-engineered plumbing components designed to create secure, leak-proof connections between tubes without the need for soldering or welding. The fitting works by flaring the end of a tube outward at a precise angle, which is then clamped tightly between a flare nut and the fitting body, forming a metal-to-metal seal capable of withstanding high pressure and vibration. This makes them especially reliable for applications involving fluctuating temperatures, movement, or repeated assembly and disassembly.

Inverted Flare Fittings operate on a similar sealing principle but with a reversed configuration - the flare nut is positioned on the outside of the fitting body rather than the inside, allowing for a more compact design. This inverted arrangement is particularly suited for tight installation spaces and is commonly used in automotive, refrigeration, and gas line applications where space constraints and secure sealing are equally critical.
